Who we are

German Language Classes for Everybody

German language School Colorado believes that learning another language deepens your cultural understanding, allows you to communicate with locals when traveling and can provide study or career opportunities. Learning a second language offers a wide range of positive benefits and can also be an exciting and fun hobby.

DSS Colorado offers German language classes for all proficiency levels and age groups. Children ages 3 -18 will learn with other children in their age group and level. Throughout their learning journey we will prepare the children for the A1 - DSD II language exams. The DSD I and DSD II (Deutsches Sprachdiplom) are German language proficiency tests administered by the German government (ZfA - Zentralstelle für das Auslandsschulwesen). Passing the DSD II exam demonstrates a high level of German language competency, often required for admission to German universities or Studienkolleg (preparatory courses).

The objective of our German Saturday School is to prepare students for the Deutsches Sprachdiplom (DSD). The DSD is a German language proficiency test based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (Gemeinsamer Europäischer Referenzrahmen für Sprachen) and consists of three separate tests.
